Who is Ian Wright’s wife Nancy Hallam?
Ian Wright married his wife Nancy Hallam in 2011.
The football player, who is in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, revealed to his campmates that they “raid” him when they met.
Ian and Myles Stephenson discussed how they could know if a person is interested in you because of your fame or just yourself when he revealed that his wife Nancy knew nothing about him before they met him.
He said: ‘My missus knew nothing about football.
“I met her at The Cow Pub in Notting Hill. I’m not kidding, it was the biggest kind of robbery to meet someone.
“I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt, but she robbed me so well that I knew she was the one.”
But just three years after their marriage, the 56-year-old got a fear after hearing that his wife and children had been kept under fire.
The football unit was then in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup, when he heard that criminals had threatened the children
He immediately rushed back to be with his family.
Before he went into the jungle, Ian joked that he would miss football the most while he was in the jungle.
He said, “I’m definitely going to miss football.”
He continued: “I don’t think I’ve ever been in a situation where I’ve been so isolated from the game in my life.
“I’m also going to miss my family. I speak with my missus every day and it will be a test. ”
Do the couple have children?
Ian and Nancy have two children together, seven-year-old Roxanne and ten-year-old Lola.
In total the former striker of Crystal Palace has eight children, four daughters and four sons with three different women.
His two oldest sons are Shaun and Bradley Wright-Phillips.
Shaun was adopted by Ian in 1984 when he was only three.
The men followed in his footsteps and became professional football players.
Shaun played for parties such as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Queens Park Rangers and won the Premier League and FA Cup during his career.
His younger brother Bradley spent most of his career with the New York Red Bulls in America and also spent time in England at Southampton, Plymouth and won the League One title with Charlton in 2012.
His other children are Brett, Stacey, Bobbi-Lee, and Coco.
